CO-TEACHING IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDENT TEACHING PRACTICE

Abstract

The English lessons taught by the Romanian students during their programme of student teaching practice in schools made me, as a tutor, realise that they are better and the students feel much more at ease when they teach in pairs rather than alone. The purpose of this paper is to describe what co-teaching is, to show what techniques students should approach in co-teaching and to underline the main advantages and disadvantages for both student teachers and  pupils.
