TEACHERS’ PERCEPTION UPON THE EDUCATION FOR PRIVATE LIFE: A ROMANIAN PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

Through this study we aim, on the hand, to delineate the bases of the education for private life from a theoretical perspective and, on the other hand, to investigate teachers’ perception regarding the integration of the education for private life in the process of education from a methodological perspective. We present the results of an observational research that aimed at identifying the perception of 890 teachers from Romanian education system towards the integration of the education for private life among the components of the process of education. The results we obtained after our investigation indicate teachers’ degree of openness towards the integration of the education for private life at the level of the components of the process of education.
