Abstract
This article presents the results of a qualitative research which had as main objective the analysis of the population’s perceptions regarding the transition process from school to the labour market. From the theoretical point of view, we will mainly resort to those theories and perspectives arguing that the analysis of the transition from school to the labour market should essentially rely on understanding the behaviour, attitudes and perceptions of the individuals involved in the process. From the empirical point of view, the analysis of the transition from school to the labour market is based on the views and perceptions of 54 people, men and women, aged between 20 and 60 years of age, with various occupations and different education levels, who have been surveyed in the interval January 2015 to June 2015.
