CURRICULUM INNOVATIONS IN LANGUAGE TEACHERS’ INITIAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES

Abstract

The aim of this study consists in the analysis of the approaches centered on the curriculum innovations in preparing pre-service language teachers. There are explored the contemporary issues in language teacher education and new international perspectives in language teacher education from general perspective. Also, there are identified the curriculum innovations in language teacher education at a specific level, with the accent on the initial training programmes.
