EVALUATION AND SELF-EVALUATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

This research attempts to describe the specific nature of evaluation in academic education. We are interested in assessing students in what evaluation is regarded. For the practical part of this research, we applied a survey to the students of “Ştefan cel Mare” University of Suceava. The questions of the survey are about the methods, percentage of evaluation in the didactic process, the content and form of evaluation (inter-evaluation and self-evaluation). The results obtained turned out to be quite interesting and they are described in detail in the final part of this paper.
