SUGGESTION FOR PROFESSIONAL ATTESTATION OF BEGINNER TEACHERS

Abstract

In Romania, because of the absence of rigorously elaborated professional standards, teachers’ professional evaluation is overdrawn. The evaluation for the professional certificate is carried out at the time of the examination of “definitivat”. The differences in teachers’ evaluations show that the current system of evaluation is very subjective. By analyzing various bibliographical sources and following a research performed among students and teachers, we worked out a system of principles and criteria of evaluation of professional competences of the beginner teachers. The principles and the criteria given will be used by the beginner teacher for self-evaluation and the board of examiners to work out the subjects and the scales of examination.
