APPLICATION OF CONSTRUCTIVIST TOOLS IN THE INITIAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS

Abstract

According to Bologna recommendations, the curriculum for training teachers should be based on learning outcomes. Therefore, the knowledge and skills specific to science education should always be combined with the knowledge and skills and specialized disciplines included in the curriculum, according to the Green Paper on education and training of teachers in Europe and the proposed common European principles for skills and qualifications of teachers (European Commission 2005). Education quality teachers from the perspective of lifelong learning requires better cooperation between institutions of higher education, a continuation of specialized training in institutions and schools, which should be developed through legislative measures and financial support. Within this cooperation the role and responsibilities of the partners involved must be clarified .
